"Tim Greene is the founder and owner of Land & Mineral Management of Appalachia, LLC (LMMA). With more than three decades of experience in the oil and gas industry, environmental compliance, and land management, Tim brings unmatched expertise to mineral owners and industry partners throughout Appalachia.
Before establishing LMMA, Tim worked for five years at a land management company in Charleston, West Virginia, focusing on acquisitions, leasing, and management of oil and gas properties, as well as developing new business opportunities. He also spent three years with the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, where he managed the statewide Water and Wastewater Training and Certification Program, overseeing testing and certification for operators across West Virginia.
Earlier in his career, Tim founded Compliance Solutions, LLC, a consulting firm that supported the oil and gas industry with leasing, seismic permitting, courthouse research, and regulatory compliance. He also served in marketing and accounting management for Weavertown Environmental Group, providing remediation, site assessment, and occupational risk analysis across a multi-state region.
Tim began his career with the West Virginia Division of Environmental Protection (WVDEP), Office of Oil & Gas, where he spent �3 years. In this role, he managed the state's Spill Response System in coordination with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and
U.S. Coast Guard, directed the Abandoned Well Cooperative Agreement, and represented the division in legal and environmental proceedings.
Drawing on this extensive background, Tim established LMMA to help land and mineral
owners navigate the complexities of oil and gas leasing, property management, and environmental compliance with clarity and confidence."

My Story
I am originally from Charleston, West Virginia and aside from the 4 years I served in the U S Air Force, have lived and worked in the Mountain State my entire life. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia State University and I'm a graduate of the leadership development program, Leadership Charleston. I have two children, a 34-year-old son and a 32-year-old daughter and when I'm not working with mineral or surface owners, I enjoy traveling, golf and learning new things. I live, work, and play by the motto, "no excuses, no regrets", and my friends, family, and clients can absolutely attest to this.
